As part of the application for the Kronenringe Jewellery Residency for Emerging Artists, we collect and process personal data solely for the purpose of conducting the application process, jury selection and the administrative handling of the residency.
The following data is processed from applicants:
Name, address, date of birth
E-mail address, telephone number
Curriculum vitae, portfolio (files/images)
Project description and statement of motivation
Application documents are submitted via online form or by e-mail (PDF upload).
Data is stored on the association’s local computers and in a secured cloud environment (Dropbox).
Access is limited to project managers and jury members involved in the selection process.
Data will only be shared with members of the selection panel (jury) and cooperation partners, insofar as this is necessary for the implementation of the residency.
Data will not be passed on to other third parties or transferred to third countries.
Application documents are stored only for the duration of the selection process.
Applications that are not selected will be deleted no later than 6 months after completion of the process.
After a residency contract has been awarded, a separate agreement will regulate the use and retention of data of the selected artists.
Processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR (performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures) and Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in carrying out a transparent selection process).
Applicants have the right to request information about the personal data stored about them at any time. They also have the right to rectification of incorrect data, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability.
Furthermore, applicants have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection supervisory authority (Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision, Ansbach).
Consent to the processing of personal data may be revoked at any time with effect for the future.
